Terms of Service
Last updated: [date published]
Who we are: Orgo Sites, run by Reddrop Group Pty Ltd, ABN 70 626 690 622 (“Orgo”, “we”). You are the business signing up.
1. What you get
A website individually designed for your business, hosted by us, plus edits through the client portal. The plan decides the size:
- Website plan, up to 5 pages: $49 a month
- Website plan, unlimited pages: $99 a month [confirm what “unlimited” includes, fair use]
- Activation fee: $497, once. Covers design and build, setting up your domain and going live. [confirm inclusions: pages, copywriting, photos, revisions]
Simple edits go through the portal chat. Bigger changes (new sections, new features) we'll quote first. [confirm]
2. The demo, and “you don't pay if you don't like the demo”
We may build a demo of your site before you've signed up. It's free, it's marked “Preview only”, and it's taken down after 30 days if you haven't claimed it. If you don't like the demo, you pay nothing. Payment is only taken when you choose to claim the site and check out. If you want changes first, ask and we'll adjust.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices are in Australian dollars. We aren't registered for GST, so no GST is charged and our invoices aren't tax invoices. If that changes we'll give you 30 days' notice before any tax is added.
- The activation fee is charged at checkout. The monthly plan is billed in advance each month by Stripe on the card you provide.
- If a payment fails we'll tell you and retry. If it stays unpaid after [14] days we may suspend your site until it's paid. We won't delete it without notice.
- Price changes: 30 days' written notice, and you may cancel before they apply.
4. No lock-in, cancelling
- No minimum term. Cancel any time from the portal or by emailing [support email]. Cancelling stops the next month's charge. [confirm: effective at the end of the paid month; no part-month refunds except where the law requires]
- The activation fee is for work already done and isn't refundable once your site is live, except where the Australian Consumer Law says otherwise. [confirm]
5. If you leave: your site is yours to take
When you cancel, ask and we'll give you a static export of your site (HTML, CSS, images) so you can host it anywhere. We'll supply it within [7] days and keep your live site up until the end of your paid month. Your domain, if registered through us, can be transferred to you. We don't keep your site online after cancellation unless you remain a customer.
The export contains your site as built. It doesn't include the portal, chat editing or our hosting setup.
6. Your content and our work
- You keep ownership of the text, photos, logos and other material you give us, and you promise you have the right to use it. You give us permission to host and display it for your site.
- You own the finished site we build for you once the activation fee is paid. We keep our general tools, templates and design methods, and may reuse them for other clients. [confirm]
- We may show your site in our portfolio unless you tell us not to.
7. Using the service
Don't use it for anything unlawful, misleading or harmful, or to infringe someone else's rights. We can suspend a site that breaks this.
We use AI tools to help with content and edits. We check the work, but you're responsible for approving what goes live on your site.
8. Availability
We aim to keep your site running but can't promise it's never interrupted. We rely on third-party services (e.g. hosting and payments). We'll fix problems as quickly as we reasonably can.
9. Liability
Nothing here limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded. Subject to that, our liability is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the service or refunding what you paid us in the 3 months before the problem [lawyer to check]. We aren't liable for lost profits or indirect loss.
10. Privacy
We handle personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes and law
We may update these terms with 30 days' notice. Victorian law applies [confirm state] and the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction.
